I'm a Lead AI Full-Stack Developer and the founder of My Cal, an AI-powered calorie and fitness tracker for Android and iPhone. I built My Cal on my own. You can log a meal by typing it or taking a photo, and AI works out the calories and macros. It also has meal plans built around Indian and international cuisines, step tracking through Health Connect and Apple Health, and support for English and Telugu. My goal is a fitness app that fits how people in India actually eat, and then to grow beyond India. This system ensures efficient management of purchase orders (POs) from deal creation to final execution. It allows users to create deals that represent agreements with suppliers. Once a deal is finalized, it is automatically split into multiple purchase orders (POs) based on specific rules, such as product types, quantities, and destinations. This helps the Merchandising and Supply Chain teams manage inventory and procurement effectively.
- The application leverages several Azure services, including Azure Service Bus, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Application Insights, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps, to ensure robust performance and scalability.

My responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable backend services using .NET Core 2.0, C#, Web API, and developing dynamic, responsive interfaces with Angular 6 and JavaScript. I developed backend services using ASP.NET Core, C#, Web API, Entity Framework, and Dapper, and integrated them with Angular 6 for the web frontend and Android applications. I also worked on SQL Server 2012 for data management and implemented responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular Material, enhancing usability and performance.
Founder & Developer · My Cal – AI Fitness Tracker (independent project) My Cal is an AI calorie and fitness tracker for Android and iPhone that I designed, built and ship on my own. Built AI food logging: users type a meal or photograph it, and Gemini (on Google Vertex AI) returns calories and macros. Requests go through Cloud Functions that enforce per-user daily limits, log usage and cost, and block off-topic or prompt-injection input. Built one Ionic, Angular and Capacitor codebase for Android and iOS, with Firebase Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Remote Config and Crashlytics behind it. Added Premium subscriptions on both stores, with purchases verified on the server: Google Play Developer API and real-time notifications on Android, and the App Store Server API and Server Notifications V2 on iPhone. Refunds and cancellations turn off access automatically. Built 1,680 verified meal plans across 7 cuisines (South Indian, North Indian, Mediterranean, Asian and more). Each plan's nutrition is calculated from USDA and IFCT ingredient data. Added AI workout plans, weekly AI insights and step tracking through Health Connect and Apple Health, which turns steps into calories burned. Localized the app into English and Telugu. Set up CI/CD with GitHub Actions that builds and uploads releases to Google Play testing tracks and Apple TestFlight. I also built an internal dashboard that tracks users, AI cost per model and subscription numbers.
