StudyMate – AI Learning Assistant
Retrieval-based question-answering assistant that grounds LLM answers in the most relevant passages from study material. Semantic search pipeline with text preprocessing, embeddings, and FAISS vector indexing; tuned preprocessing and embedding choices to improve retrieval relevance.
Trained a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) on 20,000+ leaf images, reaching 95% accuracy on a held-out test set. Reduced model size by 22% through pruning and automated the image preprocessing pipeline.
