Syed Imaaduddin Urooj

I’m Syed Imaaduddin Urooj, a Computer Science student at CBIT, Hyderabad, with a deep interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, machine learning, and modern software development. My journey in technology started with curiosity about how intelligent systems work, and it has grown into a focused passion for building practical, real-world applications powered by AI and data. I enjoy working on end-to-end projects that combine strong technical foundations with meaningful problem-solving. My work spans full-stack development, AI/ML experimentation, and product thinking. I like taking ideas from concept to working prototype, refining them through feedback, and exploring how new technologies can create tangible impact. Some of my key projects include InsightStock, an AI-powered market analysis and prediction platform that combines sentiment analysis, technical indicators, and real-time data to help users make more informed investment decisions, and TrustLens, a trust and discovery layer for local rentals that uses AI to surface scam signals, verify listings, and enable safer, more confident bookings. I’ve also worked on student-focused and social-impact applications like MindMate and CommunityLink, which aim to support mental well-being and connect people with resources, donors, and local support networks. Beyond projects, I actively participate in hackathons, tech events, and developer communities to learn from peers, test new ideas, and stay updated with the fast-evolving tech landscape. I’m particularly interested in AI engineering, scalable systems, and building products that users genuinely love and trust. At DevFest Hyderabad, I’m looking forward to connecting with fellow developers, discovering new tools and frameworks, and learning from industry experts through talks and hands-on sessions. I hope to exchange ideas, find collaborators, and contribute to the developer community while growing my own skills and perspective.
