Developed a web-based AI diagnosis system using Django and EfficientNet-B0 to accurately classify retinal fundus images and detect diabetic retinopathy, reaching 71.1% accuracy (5-class) and 93% recall for healthy cases.. Implemented the Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) for automated hyperparameter tuning, significantly improving classification performance and reducing model overfitting. Integrated Explainable AI (Grad-CAM) to generate interpretable visual heatmaps of retinal scans, enhancing transparency and clinical reliability for medical decision support.
