Hi there! I am Shahid, a Computer Science undergraduate, programmer, and someone who is probably way too curious about the way technology works. Technology has never been about just coding or learning a new language for me. What drives me is that rollercoaster ride from a simple gut feeling "what if we could build this?" to becoming human, experimenting, failing, learning, iterating, failing again, and building. My interests span across the whole spectrum of the tech stack, especially Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Web Development, IoT, and Software Engineering. I am interested in projects that solve real-world problems where technology meets reality. Whether it be working on a web app, playing around with an AI model, working on cloud tech, or designing the architecture that ties it all together, I am interested in what goes beyond what our eyes can see. One thing that can describe me perfectly is being a builder before an expert. I don't wait to become an expert before I try. I learn best when I am building and breaking things, debugging, asking questions, and figuring out why something was working. Every project I build, I end up having more questions than when I started - and I love that. My journey has also provided me opportunities to explore innovation outside classrooms, and being selected as a University Innovation Fellow by Stanford University d.school and getting to meet students and innovators across the globe really changed the way I view technology. It told me that a technically great solution isn't about how advanced the technology is, but about designing for humans, identifying meaningful problems, collaborating with others, and building something useful. That's perhaps why I am so excited for Google Dev Fest Hyderabad. I am not here just to attend a few sessions, get another event certificate. I am here to meet developers, students, engineers, founders and curious minds and build things. I am here to hear from others.

Implemented document ingestion, overlapping text chunking, local embedding generation, persistent vector storage, and similarity- based retrieval with source metadata.
Added an evaluation dataset and scoring workflow to assess generated queries and responses, with Docker support for reproducible execution.
Built a computer-vision inference service by exporting YOLOv8s to ONNX and validating output parity against the PyTorch model. Deployed the model with NVIDIA Triton Inference Server with dynamic batching, model versioning, and an ensemble pipeline for preprocessing and postprocessing.
