I am a Senior DevOps & Platform Engineer with 14+ years of corporate IT experience across DevOps, CI/CD automation, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and database engineering. My career journey from database administration to DevOps has given me a strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, from code integration and quality validation to deployment automation and release management. I have hands-on experience with Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Ansible, AWX, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Python, Shell scripting, SonarQube, Nexus, Liquibase, Veracode, Black Duck, CodeQL, and Dependabot. My database expertise includes PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Netezza, and IBM Cloud Pak for Data Systems. In my current role, I focus on building reliable CI/CD pipelines, implementing pull request validations and quality gates, modernizing delivery workflows, and improving deployment automation. My contributions include migrating repositories from Bamboo to GitHub Actions, enhancing reusable pipelines, implementing rollback mechanisms, improving backup management, and strengthening security validations. I also troubleshoot complex pipeline failures, perform root cause analysis, mentor colleagues, and deliver results aligned with project commitments and SLAs. I believe DevOps is about more than automation. It is about improving engineering efficiency, strengthening security, reducing manual effort, and enabling teams to deliver software reliably. I am exploring AI-assisted development, local language models, intelligent automation, and MLOps to improve engineering workflows and build practical solutions to real-world challenges.
