Sai Harshith Balla

Senior Software Engineer at Castlight Health, working across data engineering, machine learning, and generative AI. I build production systems using Python, Java, Airflow, GCP, Vertex AI, Kafka, and Pub/Sub—from large-scale data pipelines and healthcare risk models to recommendation systems powered by contextual bandits and Gemini. I’m especially interested in agentic AI and have built LLM-powered chatbots, natural-language segment builders, and research/content agents that scrape, reason over, and generate useful outputs. I enjoy going from an ambiguous problem to a working prototype and then engineering it into a reliable production system. Constantly experimenting with LLMs, AI copilots, prompting, agent workflows, and new ways to make AI genuinely useful.
