FinTagging — Financial Information Extraction
FinTagging is an AI-powered financial information extraction project designed to identify financial numerical values in documents and map them to standardized US-GAAP accounting concepts. It focuses on financial document analysis, table-aware information extraction, and automated financial data structuring using AI and natural language processing techniques.
A full-stack web application built with the MERN stack that enables students and professors to upload, browse, and download educational materials. It features secure authentication, Google OAuth login, email OTP-based password recovery, file uploads, and a responsive user interface with interactive 3D elements.
