I enjoy turning messy data into meaningful solutions and complex problems into simpler ones. Currently a Database Engineer at GE Vernova, working on data harmonization, SQL, and modernizing legacy systems. I like building things that solve real problems, automating the boring stuff, and finding better ways to get things done. Curious by nature, an engineer by profession, and always learning. Writing code is good. Making things work better is the real goal.

DBMesh - Intelligent Database Proxy and Query Router
• Built a database proxy with connection pooling and query routing to manage concurrent connections and reduce unnecessary load on the database. • Implemented timeouts, circuit breakers, and connection recovery to handle database failures and prevent requests from overwhelming the system. • Added Prometheus and Grafana monitoring for query latency, throughput, and connection usage, and benchmarked performance under concurrent workloads.
Distributed Task Queue System
• Designed a distributed task execution framework using Redis-backed queues and independent worker processes for asynchronous workload scheduling. • Implemented task lifecycle management, retries, failure handling, and worker coordination to improve reliability and fault tolerance of distributed workloads. • Integrated Prometheus monitoring to measure task latency, throughput, queue depth, worker behavior, and execution failures.
Concurrent Client-Server System
• Engineered a multi-threaded TCP client-server application in C on Linux to process concurrent client requests and database operations. • Implemented POSIX threads, mutexes, and semaphores for thread synchronization, resource coordination, and safe concurrent access. • Applied socket programming and concurrent request processing to implement independent client-handling threads and reliable TCP communication.
