Co-led challenge design and infrastructure for a college-level CTF involving 20 teams and 100+ students, contributing from challenge development through execution.
Deepfake Deduct – AI Deepfake Forensics Toolkit
Built a deepfake detection system using a fully fine-tuned Xception network (~22.9M parameters) trained on ∼49K real and manipulated face crops from FaceForensics++, achieving 98.56% validation accuracy on compressed synthetic media. Developed facial localization and multi-crop inference with confidence heatmaps through a Flask interface, providing face-level forensic predictions for uploaded media.
Developed an intentionally vulnerable banking application for controlled security testing covering SQL Injection, Stored XSS, IDOR, CSRF, weak authentication and unrestricted file uploads. Added secure-mode remediations including parameterized queries, output encoding, authorization checks, CSRF tokens, login lockout and file validation.
