KitabLLM : AI Research Notebook
Built an AI-powered research assistant that enables users to upload PDFs, websites, text files, and VTT transcripts, ask questions, and receive source-grounded answers with citations. Implemented a multi-stage RAG pipeline featuring query decomposition, HyDE, semantic retrieval, MMR, Reciprocal Rank Fusion, page-aware search, and streaming responses. Includes isolated notebooks, AI-generated summaries, flashcards, quizzes, and contextual follow-up suggestions.
Developed an AI-powered chatbot featuring multiple conversational personalities, including Hinglish personas, through an interactive web interface. Integrated the OpenAI Agents SDK with a Node.js and Express backend to support AI-driven conversations and session-based conversation memory.
