Thomas Vempadapu

I’m a Cloud DevOps Engineer with 3.6+ years of experience working with cloud-native platforms across AWS and Azure. Most of my day-to-day work revolves around Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, Terraform, GitOps, Jenkins, Python, CI/CD, observability, and cloud infrastructure. I enjoy troubleshooting complex platform and reliability issues and finding ways to automate repetitive work and make systems more reliable. Lately, I’ve also been exploring AI-assisted SRE, especially using agents and anomaly detection to make incident analysis and troubleshooting smarter and more efficient. I enjoy connecting with people from the cloud, DevOps, SRE, and AI communities, sharing ideas, learning from others, and working on interesting problems. Outside of work, I’m really into music, I enjoy playing drums and listening to different kinds of music. I also enjoy gaming, and recently I’ve started participating in running events and marathons. It’s been a fun way to challenge myself and stay active.
