I'm a backend engineer at Progress Software in Hyderabad. Day to day I write REST API for a big distributed platform. Lately I've been mixing backend work with AI. I put some of our APIs behind an MCP server, so AI tools can use them directly. I also built a RAG system for ABL, a language most public LLMs know very little about. I wrote the parser, set up the embeddings and search, and added a chatbot on top so engineers can just ask questions and get answers that actually help. Outside of work I enjoy algorithms and problem solving (over 1,000 problems so far), and I like figuring out how to design systems that scale. I'm also getting into Google Cloud and AI search :)

ABL LLM Assistant (Offline RAG System)
An offline RAG assistant for ABL, Progress Software's proprietary 4GL that public LLMs know very little about. I built it independently in a two-person R&D effort, working directly with a VP. I wrote a custom Python parser, set up local embeddings and a FAISS vector store, and compared several LLMs on retrieval quality. After discovery sessions with ABL engineers, I shipped an internal chatbot and direct query APIs on top of it.
Microservices-based Quiz Platform
A quiz-management platform split into Spring Boot microservices for quizzes and questions, behind an API gateway. Services find each other through Eureka, pull their settings from Spring Cloud Config, and communicate through Kafka events. I added Redis caching, JWT-based login and authorization with Spring Security, Mockito tests, and Docker so it runs locally with one setup.
